Suicide by Computation is a compilation of short stories by Chris Godber exploring the bizarre, the absurd and the strange in a science fiction setting.
From a story about a robot believing itself to be a gonzo journalist in a futuristic Berlin to a tale of the cockroach who may destroy the world (again) Suicide by computation is a collection of strange short stories aiming to enthral and engage readers of experimental fiction and to transport them to a world inspired as much by philosophy as it is by surrealism. This 2nd edition also includes a preface by the Author and artworks.
This 2nd edition contains additional artworks and a preface written by the author Chris Godber
Review from 1st Edition of Suicide by Computation
Suicide by computation is a beautifully written collection of short stories. My favorite story is the Oppenheimer blues. It was very interesting and soon after I watched a documentary on the Manhattan project. I am very fascinated by the subject and knew almost nothing until I read this book. Many of the stories should be expanded into full novels. I really enjoyed reading this book and I look forward to reading Pandora.
